Tallow is a stunning female that is one of our treasures. She is has a Hemi- Accoyo heritage that is remarkable. She is typy with a stunning head and conformation. Her fleece is fine, dense and full of many elite characteristics. Her first cria out of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon...Motivator is simply amazing! He has won 29 Championships to date. She has had 4 cria out of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon and they have been like clones of each other! TP Poseidon's Motivator, TP Poseidon's Terminator, TP Poseidon's Gladiator, and TP Poseidon's Navigator are the four magnificent boys she has had out of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon. She currently has a male at her side, sired by Snow Diamond Perfect Storm, a Snowmass Defiance son with 4 EPD's in the top 1%. Norm Evan's Comments on her Skin Biopsy done in 2013: "Tierra Prometida’s “Chase Tavern Tallow” was biopsied as a 7.5 year old white huacaya female with ARI#1226454. Her 15 X scan shows a broad view of her fiber cluster architecture. She shows uniform placement of large fiber clusters that are uniform in size and shape. Her present true density is 79.21 follicles SQ MM of skin. She shows level 2 of 4 glands structure on her S/P and 250X scans. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. The average density that I evaluated in 2010-2012 in mature huacaya females that I assume breeders considered their best was about 49 follicles SQ MM and the average S/P was about 11.3 to 1. Tallow’s S/P ratio from 6 fiber clusters on your picture is 13.16 to 1 but 25 clusters show an average S/P of 13.5. Note from all scans that she shows less that 10% of her secondary fibers are medullated which should relate to excellent handle even at her age. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 17.0 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 25.1 microns. This equates to a micron variation of 8.1 microns.Tallow shows the most impressive fiber stats of any huacaya female of her age that I have measured. She will likely make any male look good."
