TP Jubilee's Charisma is a stunning overall male! He carries a bright, soft fleece and has the combination of fineness and density that we have been seeking. He also has beautiful conformation and style. He IS the complete package! His genetics are a combination of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon, Vaccoyo's Triumph, and TP Matrix Jubilee, a direct son of Snowmass Matrix. His EPD's are excellent across the board....all of them better than 10th percentile. Charisma skin BX “TP Jubilee’s Charisma” was biopsied as a 27 month old white huacaya male with ARI#32547054. Her BCS is 7/10 and weight 138.2 lbs. His medium FS is 1.5 of 3. His 15X scan demonstrates fiber clusters very uniform in size, shape and placement within her connective tissue. His true adjusted density based on BCS measures 104.6 follicles SQ MM of skin and his average S/P ratio based on 25 typical fiber clusters is 11.3 to 1. Note from all scans that less than 15% of his secondary fibers show some level of medullation (red dots). He shows level 4 of 4 gland presence. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 18.3 microns and 50 primary fibers averaged 23.1 microns for a variation of only 4.8 microns. The above stats figure this 27 month old with above average BCS (7/10) AFD at 18.72 microns. Fantastic fiber stats that may even be a bit blown because of BCS. TP Envy of Legend represents the whole package. He brings the consistency, density, and persistent fineness from Snowmass Elite Legend (his sire) and TP Matrix Jubilee (his grandsire). He also brings excellent staple length from Sunset Hills Secret Whisper (his grand dam) who is a Sunset Hills Zephyrus daughter. His fleece is exceptionally bright with a long, well organized staple that is consistent throughout his blanket. He has a proud stance with exceptional bone density and overall conformation. His EPD's for 2022 have 4 traits in the top 1% I am genuinely excited about what this male is bringing to our breeding program and can't wait to show his beautiful cria.

We are please to announce out co-ownership of High Plains Tornado's Torrific with Mario and Bill of Rancho Inca Alpacas. High Plains Tornado's Torrific is an exceptional male imported from one of the best Canadian breeders: High Plains Alpacas. This male has outstanding character, excellent organization and blinding brightness. he has excellent conformation and superb phenotype. Torrific's sire, Prairiefire's Hurricane's Tornado, had a record breaking show career followed by his record breaking offspring, winning undefeated Supreme Championships & Supreme Championship fleece awards, which before broken, his offspring went on a 5-year consecutive Supreme run in both male & female. Tornado is a male who holds the title of the most Canadian Futurity Supreme Championships won, at a grand total of seven! He is even said to be the highest awarded alpaca in Canadian history! But those awards aren't by fault. His first year histogram reveals a 13.3 micron fleece with a curve of 69.5 and a 9th year test of 18.4 microns and curve of 49.8! To boot, his offspring have reached extremely fine micron number like 12.5mm with standard deviation numbers of 2.5 and curvatures as high as 83.5 - now that is impressive stats for a production male! Torrific's 2018 skin biopsy donce by Dr. Norm Evans showed well above average density for a large male. Many males with similar to higher density are smaller framed males. Torrific's 15x scan shows numerous typical fiber clusters to be very uniform in shape and placement within his connective tissue which is a fiber trait likely passed from his dam. His true density based on his BCS measures 76 follicles SQ MM of skin. 25 typical fiber clusters measure an average S/P of 11.2 to 1. His S/P view shows 8 typical fiber clusters indicating level 4 of 4 gland presence which based on history seems to be a strongly passed male trait associated with bright healthy fiber. This S/P view also includes a triad fiber cluster seen with alpacas with greater density. His last scan measures the average size of his primary to secondary fibers from typical clusters. 100 typical secondary fibers averaged 17.3 microns while 50 typical primary fibers averaged only 21.4 microns. This results in an S/P spread of only 4.1 microns indicating great uniformity of micron size. As a 4 year old male this small spread may be his strongest genetic trait as this ratio seems to be strongly passed from males to their offspring. The average S/P spread that I measure in mature huacaya males is 9+ microns. His average fiber diameter based on my stats is 17.66 microns. Note on all his scans that virtually none of his secondary fibers show medullation as noted by the stained red medulla cells in the center of his fibers. Torrific shows Wow fiber stats. I appreciate the opportunity to measure a male of this caliber.

Color Genotype: EeAa3 Snow Diamond Perfect Storm is a direct son of Snowmass Defiance, who resides in Australia as an ELITE breeding sire for EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud (HQ). His offspring are not only American National Champions but also Australian National Champions, which is impressive. Defiance himself is a son of Snowmass Elite Legend. Perfect Storm's dam is Snowmass Matrix Perfection, a Snowmass Matrix daughter and full-sister to Snowmass Matrix Belvedere. Perfect Storm was awarded the 2017 AOA National Best Bred & Owned Male banner, and has many other Bred & Owned and Championship wins to his name, respectfully. He acquired the best traits of his parents, including fineness (which is lasting), excellent consistency, brightness, density and a high-frequency crimp that is well-defined and uniform throughout. His EPDs are also exceptional, with 4 traits in the Top 1% in 2021 & 2022. He is gorgeous with stunning presence, a beautiful head style, bone density, and overall confirmation...and he has an easy going disposition which makes him a joy to handle! Genetic prepotency and predicability in ELITE offspring is written in this males pedigree! We have bred him to many diverse females in our herds and have many that are for sale. He is currently bred back to the dams who have produced his most impressive cria.

Irish Meadows' Raider is a new Herdsire for our ranch. He will work well as an outcross for our Snowmass Matrix/Elite Legend combinations. Raider has a striking presence with typey conformation and style. He also has a remarkable, bright, dense fleece with excellent staple length and handle. SA Diamante's Mataro is a compact male exemplifying the huacaya "type". He has a beautiful head style and excellent overall conformation. His fleece has excellent brightness and fineness, particularly for a black breeding male. His first cria was a lovely female born in 2022 with a beautiful fleece and head style. Color Genetic testing: Eea1a2 Red Granites Alydar will produce all colors; white to black! All offspring will have an "a" allele. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Red Granite Ranch in the ownership of this spectacular male. (I know....we haven't done gray in years.) When it comes to this male right here though, he is simply one of a kind. You could not ask for more, the epitome of excellence and frankly, it doesn't matter what color he is: Red Granites Alydar By Val D Lsere. There has never been a Grey Alpaca to stir up as much commotion as this one, and probably never will be. For all that have seen and judged this male, he has been represented as the IDEAL standard for grey fleece. The evenness of his fineness and the astounding density and uniformity that is found within his blanket is simply incomparable. It is a very advanced, high-frequency crimp style from skin to tip, rarely seen in his color group. This crimp style continues right down the leg and into his belly area, also running up through the neck all in a very uniform manner. Judges’ have described his fleece as “angel-like and delicate” with “superior uniformity of micron” and carrying the “dangerous combination of fineness and density”. Alydar was shown at one of the highest level shows, Nationals, and took first place as a juvenile, yearling, 2-year-old, and mature male, he also did so at The Futurity, taking a first place as both a yearling and 2-year-old and then moved into the champion circle. He also won the 2021 Futurity Judges' Choice Male & 2023 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Champion trophy. Many juveniles place well the first year but the real test is if they can stand the same position or even better position the following years, and hold onto their exceptional traits. He has a total of 40 Championship banners, 10 Judges' Choice awards, a Supreme Championship, a Grand Champion, and Spirit of the Industry win to his name, not to mention he was named the #1 National High Point Huacaya Male in 2022 and #3 National High Point Huacaya Male in Fleece for 2023. He became the first gray to win the prestigious Futurity Judges’ Choice award and first grey to win a National Supreme Championship trophy, and also became the second gray alpaca to have won over 30 Championship banners. That is impressive. Nothing about him has wavered over the years. Alydar comes from a generation after generation of champion alpacas. His lineage includes Herdsire of the Year winners: VAL D LSERE, MR SIZLIN ROSE, and MATRIX while also including top color producing sires: MATRIX ROSE, CONOPA, VALENTINO, THELONIUS, KIRWIN, CASANOVA, and SIZLIN HOT. Excellence in COLOR is in this males blood! Alydar's production has been everything we hoped for and more. He has produced every color inducing Silver Greys, Rose Greys, True & Bay Blacks, Fawns, Browns, and Whites of all shades. And he is stamping CHAMPIONS!

As breeders, we are all breeding for fineness, density and most of all…UNIFORMITY. This male was hand selected with the help of Lynn Edens to provide increased uniformity while maintaining fineness without driving the micron down further. His other positive traits include density, curvature, fineness, and STAPLE LENGTH. On top of that, he has beautiful conformation with a typey head and a princely presence. He has 5 registered cria and has started his breeding career here in Texas with several more cria coming! We currently have 4 of our own cria on the ground--3 are female and 1 is a male. We are extremely pleased with these cria. They are all very young still and we will post pictures soon.
