Foundation Huacaya Alpacas

We are excited to have this Matrix daughter as an addition to our Foundation herd. She has solid conformation and a stunning fleece with beautiful character, fineness and density. She delivered a gorgeous cria out of TP Jubilee's Charisma last spring who is a beauty with a spectacular fleece. Her name is TP Pure Charm and was the white color champion as a juvenile at TXOLAN in 2019. TP's Snowmass Purity" was biopsied as a 5 year old beige huacaya female with ARl#3 l 796095. Her 15 X scan shows a broad view of her fiber cluster architecture. She shows fiber clusters mostly uniform in shape and placement within her connective tissue with many visible triad clusters. Her density measured 78.5 follicles SQ MM of skin on a 10 mm punch which requires no adjustment. She shows level 4 of 4 glands structure as noted on her 250X scan. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. Purity's S/P ratio from 6 fiber clusters on your picture is 15.16 to 1, while 25 clusters showed an average SIP of 15.4 to 1. Note from all these 6 clusters that less than 3% of her secondary fibers are medullated which should relate to excellent handle. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 18.3 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 24.8 microns. This equates to a micron variation of only 6.5 microns. Princess Leia caught my eye with her cria, Xanadu Maroon Bells. Since she wasn't for sale, I bought mom bred back to Xanadu P Aristide.
